Transfer of learning has divided mainly three   Positive transfer ,  Negative transfer,  Zero transfer. Positive transfer -Previous experience is likely to facilitate  subsequent learning . Ex.. Training in cycling makes easy learning how to drive a motor cycle.  Negative transfer- interference of previous knowledge.Ex..  Mother tongue interference Zero transfer.  - the previous learning has no effect. learning driving has no effect  for swimming. horizondal transfer vertical  transfer.  Love is silent,but it is active  Optional  class INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN SCHOOL

Today I got a call from the teacher (Ancy mam)to be prepare for a prayer for the class.l prayed before the class for all.Then  Kothari commission was discussed. We were asked to complete the notes after the discussion. Second hour Giby miss continued teaching on learning . Characteristics and types of learning were discussed followed by learning curves and concept of "plateau". Types of learning Motor learning- acquisition of new motor skills Verbal learning- acquiring language skills Concept learning- trained to classify object's Discrimination learning- ability to discriminate things Causes and remedies of plateau were also discussed. Causes Complex nature Lack of motivation Lack of previous knowledge Lack of attention Lack of adequate teaching method Poor physical condition Mental fatigue Remedies include - incorporating multi sensory approach , make active participants, yoga and physical exercise for better physical health etc...

September 07,2021 (Tuesday)  The day started with Ancy mam's class and our class took the seminar on the topic Evolution of education system in Kerala.  The second hour was by Giby mam and mam taught us about the topic of forgetting and its different theories. The last hour was Physical Education and today's topic was javelin throw, long jump and triple jump. The class started off with sir presenting some video clips of each sport and their marking and also taught us how to draw tracks for javelin throw and also of long jump and triple jump.  8/9/2021 Wednesday Gayatri presented her reading and reflection. optinal class. Taxonomy 9/9/2021 Thursday  Today first hour Maya miss gave a detailed idea on what practicum is all about. She explained each steps followed while writing one. It was a helpful session as all the doubts were cleared. We were asked to select the topic and start working on it as soon as poss

The day started with the class of Joju sr.In this session english optional class started their group discussion based on  'current practices in assessment and evaluation.We didn't complete our presentations only six members had done it, balance students has to do it in the next class. Thus ended the first hour. The next hour we had Maya mam's class and in that class also we had a discussion session about "Education during the British Period". It was a wonderful session. The last hour was followed by Meekha mam our optional class. We had our seminar presentations and mam cleared our doubts regarding the practicum and content analysis.
